This type of session is about 60 minutes long, and it can take place anywhere. We can do it in the comforts of your own home or yard, but we can also take a stroll through some of my favorite locations around the Manhattan area. The northern Flint Hills makes for some beautiful backdrops!

Wardrobe for these types of sessions are SUPER important, and it will totally make the difference in the quality if images. Because of this, I offer detailed pinterest board guides, depending on what kind of cohesive style you are looking for. We want to make the most of your session and have beautifully timeless image for you to treasure for many years to come. My clients also have access to my growing client closet. Additionally, if putting together a wardrobe is not something you feel confident in doing, I will gladly help you put something together. We can work with clothing you already have in your closet, or I can shoot you some ideas of clothing you can go purchase that is within your budget for you or for your entire family.

My work does not generally include posed pictures, but I will definitely give you guidance. Throughout the session I will ask questions, share scenarios to think about, games to play, and sometimes instruct you to do some pretty goofy things. Some of those prompts may feel awkward, especially at first, but I promise that once you warm up to me and my camera, the real emotion will start to shine through, and we will capture some amazing raw images!

All outdoor sessions take place during golden hour (sunrise or sunset). Golden hour is that beautiful light right after sunrise, and right before sunset.

100% yes! As long as our session location allows animals, I have zero problems with it and would love to meet your furry friends!

No, but if there is something you would like to bring to your session, I will gladly include it in a few images.
